How To Watch Youtube Fullscreen Dual Monitor

Sentry Youtube maximized on a 2nd monitor

Here's a neat Chrome extension I ran into. It allows you to expand whatever Youtube video to the size of the window you are watching it in. This is useful when y'all have two monitors and want to watch something (similar a BW VOD) on ane screen and exercise something else on the other screen.

If you lot use Youtube'southward built-in maximize button, as soon equally you lot click outside of that window, it goes dorsum to regular size.

This has the exact steps and I can verify 100% that it works. - Also doesn't crave the downloading of any random software that might do other things to your computer as well a Hex Editor (I utilize Notepad++ with the Hex Editor Addon, but any hex editor will work)

For those of you with Chrome, the browser seems to apply their ain stand-lone version of wink. I recall having to change the gcswf32.dll at 1 point, but to save yous time I'll only post a download for mine.

Just navigate to AppData -> Local -> Google -> Chrome -> Awarding -> (Your latest version of chrome) and replace the gcswf32.dll file there with this i: [url blocked] .

A reminder, every fourth dimension you update chrome a new dll file will be written then remember to save this file and replace information technology when yous practice so.

Hope this helps =).

It likewise works on things other than YouTube, basically for anything Flash Based.

That's nice. Wonder if y'all tin can get an expander that works for livestream, too? I like to watch my starcraft 2 while browsing. :D
Thanks and so much for this. Gonna check out the i on bramp and then Livestream doesn't minimize either :3
Now but needs one for Livestream... All the times I tried to watch day9 daily full screen... T_T
Great work nonetheless... I might accept to switch to chrome at present lol

Even though I'll probably know how to get a hex editor and then edit that line... I'll probably get fucked when flash updates
Re: everybody wanting the same for live streams, other flash video, etc.

That'due south what the full screen flash hack posted by thundertoss and AbyssV3 does. Again, the downside is that whenever at that place's a new flash version, the hack stops working (until everybody figures out the new address to change).

edit: everybody is editing lol, I guess I should assume people can read

Omg thankyou, this saves me sooo much frustration
seems similar a usefull little tool
